Hi, I’m Tim Moen! I am a character designer currently living in the Knoxville area of Tennessee. Originally from Long Island, New York, I’ve been the lead character designer of three animated television series from Disney Television Animation, including the Emmy-nominated reboot of “DuckTales” (2017), and have worked on a number of shows in development as well.
Over the past 10+ years, my primary role as a lead character designer has been taking characters from their rough conceptual form (often developed by other concept artists) and unifying their designs into a cohesive, recognizable style, while still being producible by teams of overseas animation artists. My professional work has been applied in a variety of formats, including stereoscopic 3-d, CGI, hand drawn animation, 2-d puppet-style animation, print, amusement park applications, and toys.
